Mexico Part 2...finally!

He loves being a 'dirty' boy!

Sammy really enjoyed getting all dressed-up for the resort dinners. This night was particularly nice as we were outside and could take our time eating while the kids played. (See the following photos)

Sam and Miles practicing a show!

Dance moves!

You get by with a little help from big sis!

Cool dude!

Sammy's first time boogie boarding. She had a great time, and was out there for quite a while, until she was properly flipped by a wave and felt the fear of not knowing which way was up. She wouldn't go back out after that. It's a pretty scary feeling for an adult, let alone a four year old. Perhaps next year we will try again!

Mexican fiesta night. The mariachi band.

Watching and dancing while everyone around us is trying to get their food. We're lucky that the kids are cute!

After spending the day at the pool, we showered and headed to the airport.  We really pushed our luck by booking an 8 PM flight. Everything went very well until Sammy had a melt down at customs in Vancouver. The guards took pity on us and waved us through ahead of the line, while Sammy was screaming that she wanted to go back to Hawaii..? Ah...sleep deprivation! We finally got home with a comatose Sammy at 4 AM Mexico time. Miles actually slept for a couple of hours on the flight and was the life of the party by the time we got to Vancouver.

Mexico Part 1

A month and a half later and I am now uploading the photos!
We had an excellent time meeting, feeding and playing with dolphins through Vallarta Adventures. We spent about 45 minutes in the water with an older mommy dolphin who really loved to kiss Sammy on the cheek. It was a great experience and well worth the price. However, you are not allowed to take photos. They take them for you and then charge you fortune! None of our photos were particularly good so the only photo I purchased is this group shot.

Hanging out in our 'living room'. We had a one-bedroom suite.

Dinner at the Mexican restaurant

Sammy loves this dress and loves to show it off. I think she is chatting with the waiter.

Playing on the beach at night is very cool when you are 2 and 5.

We are beginning the process of potty training Miles. Sammy is demonstrating an interesting position!

Eating eggs in the morning is serious business

Seeing her 'saunter' along the beach is pretty scary. I can picture her 15 years from now...
