| Sammy's first time boogie boarding. She had a great time, and was out there for quite a while, until she was properly flipped by a wave and felt the fear of not knowing which way was up. She wouldn't go back out after that. It's a pretty scary feeling for an adult, let alone a four year old. Perhaps next year we will try again! |

| After spending the day at the pool, we showered and headed to the airport. We really pushed our luck by booking an 8 PM flight. Everything went very well until Sammy had a melt down at customs in Vancouver. The guards took pity on us and waved us through ahead of the line, while Sammy was screaming that she wanted to go back to Hawaii..? Ah...sleep deprivation! We finally got home with a comatose Sammy at 4 AM Mexico time. Miles actually slept for a couple of hours on the flight and was the life of the party by the time we got to Vancouver. |
